Christmas Hill Raspberry Farm is located just off the A1 Bass Highway, mid way between Deloraine and Elizabeth Town, Tasmania. It is a 30 minute drive from the Spirit of Tasmania Terminal in Devonport or 45 minutes drive from the Launceston Airport (see map). The Farm is now leased by Andrew Terry and the Business is now Trading as Tasmanian Berries.

Tasmanian Berries is seeking an experienced farm supervisor at our Exton site, to oversee the daily running of the farm in conjunction with the company's Farm Manager.
Tasmanian Berries is a small family owned business, producing strawberries, raspberries and blackberries for Driscolls Australia. The Christmas Hills site also produces public variety berries to supply the Christmas Hills Raspberry Farm Cafe, year round.
The successful applicant will be expected to work independently at the Exton site, to manage the day to day tasks of the staff, to oversee and manage the crop's spray program and manage the site's irrigation system. The successful applicant will be required to work at our Christmas Hills site from time to time, for the purpose of attending management meetings and working with the Farm Manager and other senior members who are primarily based at the Christmas Hills site.
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work with representatives of Driscolls Australia and undertake relevant agricultural and management courses to develop and improve skills, from time to time.
Applicants must have a current Chem Cert Australia accreditation, a valid Australian driver's licence and experience in operating farm machinery is necessary.

Seasonal work is available for fruit pickers from early December until the end of May. We welcome fruit pickers with and without experience. We prefer you to work with us for a minimum of 3 or 4 weeks

Rate of Pay
We pay by the weight of berries picked. Pay rates do fluctuate depending on the condition of the crop being harvested. We make a direct payment of your wages into your bank account and provide you with a pay slip.
