The Christmas Hill Raspberry Farm is located just off the A1 Bass Highway, mid way between Deloraine and Elizabeth Town, Tasmania. It is a 30 minute drive from the Spirit of Tasmania Terminal in Devonport and a 45 minute drive from the Launceston Airport (see map). 

The Farm is owned by Andrew Terry and the Business trades as Tasmanian Berries Pty Ltd.

Seasonal Work

Seasonal work is available for fruit pickers from mid October until the end of May.

We will be conducting inductions in October 2015 for all fruit pickers who apply to work at Tasmanian Berries for the 2015/16 season.  Please see below for details to register your interest.

We welcome fruit pickers with and without experience. We prefer that you work with us for a minimum of 3 to 4 weeks.

Rate of Pay
We pay by the weight of berries picked. Pay rates do fluctuate depending on the condition of the crop being harvested and pickers will be notified of the daily rate prior to commencing each days pick. We make a direct payment of your wages into your bank account and provide you with a pay slip.

There is a range of on and off-farm accommodation options available including:

At the Farm
While you are an employee of Tasmanian Berries, you can set up a tent or campervan at a designated campsite.  There is a shared, basic kitchen area and toilet and shower facilities.

Onsite Vans:         $48 one adult or $56 two adults per night (7th night free) or for a minimum of four weeks stay (with a $300 bond)  onsite vans are $164 per week one adult or $212 per week two adults.
